About Goods For Grades
JAX believes education is a critical part of our future and wants to reward your student for good grades!
Family and employee owned, JAX has been giving back to the community since 1955. Education is one of JAX's core values and it has been a part of our company since Marvin and Lola Quinlan started Ames Surplus in 1955. Lola and Marvin worked as teachers before starting the business. Lola received her Master of Arts in Librarianship from the University of Denver in 1953 and was a lifelong learner and lover of books. Lola was the book buyer at JAX for over 20 years, well into her 80's. She founded the annual local author day that JAX hosted for many years.
What Is Goods For Grades?
